PURPOSE OF THE EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING PROGRAMME To provide individuals holding relevant financial qualification(s) with the necessary organisational and corporate environment exposure and provide practical experience in a finance environment in order to be able to put theory into practice. ABOUT THE PROGRAMME The duration of the programme is Six (6) months. The successful candidates will gain exposure in a finance department in an Aviation Airline Industry. The areas that will provide the candidate with exposure include Debtors, Creditors, Revenue, Cashbook, Fixed Assets, Stock and Management Accounts. A stipend of R3000.00 per month will be payable to the candidate for the duration of the programme. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES * Hard worker/diligent * Excellent interpersonal skills * Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization * Resilience – ability to work under pressure * Eager to learn * Excellent planning and problem solving * Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP as an added advantage * Must pay attention to detail KEY REQUIREMENTS * Must have Matric and a National Diploma in Accounting or B.Comm degree , or an equivalent financial qualification like ACCA.
