SOUTH AFRICAN EXPRESS WINS INTERNATIONAL AWARD
JOHANNESBURG, 04 August 2008. Rapidly growing regional airline, South African Express wins the 2007 Annual Airline Reliability Performance Awards. South African Express is the proud winner of the 2007 Airline Reliability Performance Awards. The awards were presented by Bombardier Aerospace on Monday June 16 2008 at Capitol Event Theatre in Toronto, Canada. Award-winners were selected based on a review of the reliability statistics from Bombardier FRACAS data for airlines achieving over 99% dispatch reliability on revenue operated flights. Bombardier’s Todd Young: Vice President Customer Support congratulates South African Express on “contributing tirelessly to operational excellence.” South African Express operates a total of twenty-one (21) aircraft: Two (2) Q400 aircraft, twelve (12) Canadair Regional Jets and eight (8) Dash 8 300.
