South African Express to begin operating between Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth
JOHANNESBURG, 18 March 2009. Growing domestic and regional airline South African Express is set to operate between Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth from 30 March 2009. In line with the airline’s strategy to consolidate its domestic route network, focusing only on key markets, the airline will operate the Johannesburg – Port Elizabeth route every weekday, twice a day. The aircraft to be operated on this route is the Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet Series 200. This modern aircraft accommodates 50 passengers.
