SA EXPRESS AIRWAYS EXTENDS ROUTE NETWORK TO MAPUTO


Leading regional airline, South African Express Airways is extending its route network to Maputo, Mozambique from Monday 2 October 2006.

South African Express Airways extending its route network to include travel between Cape Town and Maputo is part of the airline’s long-term strategy to create vital connections between local and regional destinations.

Says Siza Mzimela, CEO of South African Express Airways: “This new route is in alignment with our vision to connect intra-African leisure destinations and business hubs, as well as to play a prominent role in the development of the travel and tourism industry.”

South African Express Airways will operate two frequencies a week (Mondays and Fridays) between Cape Town and Maputo. During this launch phase, the airline offers passengers excellent value for money with tax inclusive fares beginning from R2842 per return trip.

South African Express Airways also successfully operates between regional destinations like Lubumbashi in the DRC, Walvis Bay and Windhoek in Namibia and Gaborone in Botswana.
