Congo Express offers paperless ticketless ticketing on all its domestic routes. Ticketless booking provides customer benefits including improved security (ticket cannot be lost or stolen) and greater convenience (passengers never have to collect tickets and changes are easier to make). A paperless ticket may be booked via a travel agent or by logging on to our website, www.flyexpress.aero (where you also gain access to our lowest fares) or by phoning our office on (+243 81 266 9680/1/2) or visiting our ticket station. Once you have made your reservation, you may proceed directly to check-in on the day of your trip, quote your reference number and provide a positive form of identification in order to receive your boarding pass. The passenger shall arrive at the Congo Express check-in location and boarding gate sufficiently in advance of flight departure to permit completion of any government formalities and departure procedures and, in any event, not later than the time indicated by the Carrier on your flight reference. If the passenger fails to arrive on time at check-in location or appears improperly documented and not ready to travel, the Carrier may cancel the space reserved for the passenger and will not delay the flight. When boarding one of our flights, simply place any hand luggage that will not be required during the flight onto the Skycheck cart at the boarding steps of the aircraft. Valuable items including cameras and accessories, computers including laptops and notebooks, mobile telephones, perfumes, aftershaves, colognes, legal and company documents, legal tender including cash, credit cards and cheques, bullion, leather jackets, all types of jewellery and any other items with a value in excess of US$54 must be removed from either checked-in or Skycheck baggage as the airline is not liable for loss or damage to these items. Verified baggage claims are settled on the basis adopted by IATA (International Airlines Transport Association) – payment of US$20, 00 per 1kg of checked-in luggage, to a maximum of 20kg (US$400). Free Baggage Allowance Weight Concept Economy Class - 20kg (44lb) Children and infants paying at least 50% of the adult fare are entitled to the same allowance as adults. Infants not entitled to a seat shall only be permitted 10kg (22lb) and one collapsible buggy. Declared security items of high value may be tendered to the appropriate handling counters for safe handling. Any of these items not declared to the airline or identified to cabin baggage at the security screening points will be confiscated and not returned. Passengers requiring the use of medical syringes in flight, such as diabetic and other passengers with documented proof of medical need must ensure that it is professionally packed and labelled.
